Noise Abatement

Encouraging friendly skies over our neighboring communities

The most recent data on aircraft noise impacts on the region can be found in the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport’s FAR Part 150 Noise Compatibility Study. The document is available on the Airport Studies and Plans page.

For Community Members

All airspace is controlled by the Federal Aviation Administration for public use. If you have a complaint, please contact Scottsdale Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) at 480-284-4450. They will ask for the date and time of the incident and tail number of the aircraft, if visible.

For Pilots

We ask that you fly friendly over our neighboring communities by reviewing and adhering to the voluntary noise abatement procedures published in the Airport/Facility Directory (A/FD) and the noise awareness steps developed by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s (AOPA) if safe to do so.

Please note that stalls, spins, and other practice maneuvers are discouraged within Flagstaff Pulliam Airport’s Class D airspace.
